Okay, its been a while since i actually enter the world of the net and that is because i have been soooo busssyyy. But, happily busy, not the stressly busy. :)

spent the week with PBB. Yup, I was the faci for pbb 09 ... again, i know. and boy, do i feel soo old. i remember telling Lin how old i feel since the other facis are like year 1s or going to enter NUS.

But, it was funnn! I tell you, the kids .. even the quiet ones actually make it worthwhile. If last year, i have a bunch of chatty kids, this year i have a mix of both. But they are like the diam-diam lepu kind. The ones that caught you by surprise. and really, the kids are the one that make me want to be involved with PBB again and again. :))

But i do have to say that i feel kinda weird not to be actively involved in the planning or be stressed over things for pbb. for once, i dont need to actually sleep late or wake up early during camp. i actually miss the rushhhh.

omg. the boys beside Yusnor Ef.. they are seriously sooo cute lah. We lepak with them one fine night and lets just say that one of them is r karat, and hes the cutest. well, r karats whaattt .. biasa ah. haha!

Okay now, the above picture is the picture of this year PB's champion group. ehem ehem. Which is mine! and the picture below is also the picture of last year PB's champion group. ehem ehem. Which is also mine!

Okay lah. Granted that i actually question why oh why we actually won for both groups but come and ponder with me people, is it really a wonder that my group won TWICE?
hahahahaha! okay lah. i just want to action-action only.

and over the weekends, was my cousin's wedding and waahhh, such an emotional one. i think its because its the first the extended family got to experience a wedding. and countless, i tell you, that i heard someone asking my mom when is her turn to be the mak pengantin. wait long-long eh.

but it was fun cause i got to be the OFFICIAL photographer! whoo-hoooo. actually, its quite me-malukan cause when the cousin's di-akad nikah-kan, i can see my dad's, brother's and mom's eyes asking me to go right in front of the tok kadi. i am soo scared that the tok kadi might just ask me to stop taking pictures cause of the flash. but, other than the tak-tahu malu, it was sooo fun lah! cause i get to use my bro's dslr. boy, i soooo love dslr. i want onnneee! haha.

i am soo going to show to the world the nice pictures i took as soon as the home computer does not act up. :)

oh. and we got to witness true-blue kuda kepang. serious punyer. like the really kena rasuk kind. apparently, on saturday, when its the cousin's nikah, theres some kuda kepang event. we thought that it would only be in the morning since its been there ever since 9am. BUT, it lasted till 11pm!

i remember when i watched it early afternoon, theres a barrier seperating the performers from the audience and its reasonably sane. But at night, when i watched it again, its getting more wild and scary. theres no more barrier so, the "performers" or rather the ones that kena rasuk can roam around freely. and they did. and they actually run after the tak-bersalah-passerby. we saw one rasuk guy running after the banglas. and the banglas with their kain lari linkang pukang.

and i tell you, theres COUNTLESS of them. and theres young kids even. whenever we saw strangers getting close to our "circle of trust", we freaked out. and, theres even this whipper all around the place whipping the rasuk people with full force. and its like, they are asking to be whipped.

i got freaked out when one guy ran circling us with his kuda. and i think it reach to a point where i seriously dont feel safe at all even with our "circle of trust" cause theres just too many of them and they are getting more uncontrollable. so, when this rasuk guy walked towards us in his horsey manner, we decided that its enough.
but of course, even at our bawa kelong blok place, we didnt feel safe. every once in a while, theres a need to look out if theres someone running amok. and having their people coming to us and asking if we saw their guy running around, doesnt help at all.

and i am wondering, why oh why do they subject themselves to this? really. does it give them some sense of satisfaction? and the sad thing is, there are kids, young kids, actually practising whipping and performing. i should have taken a video but its serious punyer eerie to even do anything.

okay, to wrap things up, by right, theres only 3 things i wanna say ahh.

1) i love PB. i love being a faci. i want to plan a camp again.

2) if you are getting married, and you want a $0 budget for photographer, you know who to call. i can show you my portfolio. (hahahahah! action or whaattt?)

3) why do people practice kuda kepang? dont they know its scary and its wrong?

panjang lebar eh my post. padahal tiga points aje.
